Vision of the Department :

To impart quality education for producing world class engineers with latest knowledge and innovative ideas in computer science and engineering to meet the expectations of industry and society.

Mission of the Department :

  • To achieve academic excellence by imparting in depth knowledge to the students through effective pedagogies and hands experience on latest tools and technologies.
  • To pursue trending and emerging technologies in computer science and engineering and learn their application across disciplines in order to serve the needs of industry, government, society and the scientific community.

HOD -Dr. P. Amaravathi


Dr. P. Amaravathi serves as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). She holds a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS&IT), an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. She qualified the GATE examination in 2005 and has 19 years of teaching experience in engineering education. 

         Throughout her academic career, Dr. Amaravathi has been dedicated to imparting quality education and mentoring students with strong technical knowledge, innovative thinking, and ethical values. Her areas of expertise, commitment to academic excellence, and passion for continuous learning have played a significant role in enhancing the academic standards and overall growth of the department.

I am extremely happy to introduce and welcome you to department of computer science and engineering (CSE) at WISE college. The UG program of CSE has started its journey in 2008 with idea to equip young minds with technical skills along with ethical values.

Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of basic sciences&Humanities, engineering fundamentals, and Engineering specializations to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem Analysis: Identify, Formulate, review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems to arrive at substantiated conclusions using first principles of, basic sciences natural& engineering sciences.

Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components, processes to meet the specifications with consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
